Big moves

My reel is finished!  I am waiting to receive the final cut and then I will be armed with video to go with my submissions.  I’m also trying a new hairstyle (bangs), so new photos will be in the works soon.

In bigger news, I have decided to try the acting out in other parts of the world.  My first stop is London, England; where I will be landing in early September.  Check back soon to see how it goes!

2011!!

New year, new happenings!  I have a new theatrical agent, Mr. Nic De Armendi, with JLA.  We are gearing up for pilot season at the moment.  I’m very excited to make some big moves this year.  Currently, I have booked a video game trailer for Ubisoft, so stay tuned for info on when/where you can see that.  I have been asked to participate in a new reality/competition show for a popular cable channel and I am really going back and forth on deciding whether I should do it or not.  I have joined the Underground Theater company, so hopefully I’ll be up on stage in one of their productions soon!  Lastly, I am on the waiting list to jump into an acting class with the wonderful Mr. Brian Reise.  Lots going on, so I say, bring it, 2011!

Summer’s end

The end of summer 2010 brings new headshots- check them out on the “Photos” page.  I am working closely with my commercial agent to keep the success ball rolling as my Alka-Seltzer commercial continues to run on network and cable TV and the internet!  I’ve been feeling the itch to get back into a theater production, so I’ve picked up a few auditions in that arena.  So, you might just be seeing me on the stage soon!

Overdue update!

The meeting with the commercial agent in March went great!  The day I went in to meet with him, it just so happened that  a breakdown I was right for came across his desk.  So, he sent me out that day for the audition (for an Alka Seltzer commercial).  In the end, I got the job and the agent!  Be sure to watch for me on your TV in my new Alka Seltzer ad.

Last week, I had a straight-to-callback audition for a Smart Car ad.  It went well, so, we’ll see!  I am now SAG eligible and paid-up AFTRA.  Still on the hunt for a good theatrical agent or a hands-on manager.

The season 2 finale of “I <3 Vampires” is up on take180.com; make sure to catch me in action there!

Spring Training

The auditions continue!  I also have a meeting with a commercial agent on the 17th this month.  I think I will be deciding on a class or two to take soon; perhaps some more improv or character study!  Winter is almost over and I am looking forward to getting outside for some camping and hiking.  Check back soon for the latest updates!

New Year!

After a 3 month hiatus, “I <3 Vampires” is back in production for a second season!  We filmed yesterday, so make sure to check out the new episode when it comes out.  This season should hold a lot of interesting turns for my character, the conniving vampire, Abby.

I am auditioning like crazy right now, so stay tuned for updates on new projects!

Fall happenings

I am now a member of AFTRA!  Work is steady right now: catch the new season of “The Crew” airing now and watch for “The Occulterers”- a new comedy/horror series that will air an episode every day during the week leading up to Halloween!

Vampire union

The business cards are in and look great.  They have definitely been an asset to my networking endeavors.  The big news is that the wonderful folks at Take 180 studios (makers of “I <3 Vampires”) have asked me to continue my work as Abby on the show.  This is very exciting for me as it means I will have to join AFTRA.  I will be a union actor by the end of the summer!  I plan on using this momentum to get out on more auditions for other AFTRA productions.  So, keep your TV’s tuned; you never know where you might see me next!

New news

So, my next step has been to order business cards, now that I have a web address to print on them.  I am so excited to get those in the mail.  I splurged on some really nice cards from this great site called www.moo.com.  Can’t wait to see how they look and feel.

Next bit of news: I’ve been asked back to appear in another episode of “I <3 Vampires.”  We’re scheduled to shoot on the 17th of this month, so, assuming they keep up the weekly pace, you’ll be able to watch that episode by the 24th.  I love working on this show!  Being a vampire is a lot of fun.

Alright, that’s all for now.  Goodnight, world.

Hello, internet

This is my first attempt at setting up a site of my own.  I need a place, a singular online destination of sorts, where people looking to see my professional info can access it all from one spot.  Eventually, I want this site to house my headshots, resume, links to my work- if not video directly on this site- and any other pertinent info/media.  Please bear with me as I navigate my way through this process.  I hope you will check back frequently, as there will be many changes to come!

Thanks!
